Lifetimely: Account Setup FAQs

Understand how Lifetimely syncs data from your Shopify store and marketing integrations, and what to expect for your first reports and ongoing updates.


Key Concepts

  • Initial Sync: The first time Lifetimely connects to your Shopify store, it pulls in all historical data. This can take some time, especially for large stores.
  • LTV Report Generation: After the initial sync, Lifetimely analyzes the data to create your first Lifetime Value (LTV) report.
  • Ongoing Data Refresh: After the initial setup is complete, Lifetimely automatically updates your data to keep your reports current.
  • Currency Conversion: Lifetimely automatically converts ad account currencies to match your Shopify store's currency. You do not need to do this manually.

How Data Syncing Works

Shopify Data Sync

Your Shopify store data, including orders and customer information, automatically updates in Lifetimely in real time. This happens whenever key events occur, such as a new order being placed.

Marketing Integration Sync

Marketing data from your ad platforms syncs on a set schedule. The sync frequency varies by platform:

  • Hourly: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads
  • Every 2–12 hours: Bing Ads, Recharge, Klaviyo, TikTok

When to Expect Your Reports

  • Initial Sync

    Most stores finish their initial sync within 30 minutes, but larger stores may take up to 24 hours. You can monitor the progress in the Setup Guide:


  • First LTV Report

    Once the initial sync is complete, your first LTV report may take an additional 1–2 hours to generate. Stores with a large amount of data may take a bit longer.


Account Capabilities

  • Can I set my currency to something other than my Shopify store’s currency?

    No. Your data can only be displayed in your Shopify store’s default currency. If your Shopify store and ad accounts use different currencies, we’ll automatically convert your ad account data to match your Shopify store’s currency.

  • Can I add a second Shopify store to my account?

    Yes. You can connect multiple Shopify stores to your account.

Troubleshooting

  • "My LTV report looks empty"

    This is often normal and means the report is still processing after the initial sync. Wait 1–2 hours after the initial sync is complete. If it is still empty, contact support.

  • "Data hasn’t synced in over 24 hours"

    This is not normal. Contact support for assistance as there may be an issue with your connection.

  • "I can't change my currency"

    This is an intended limitation. Lifetimely is designed to automatically use your Shopify store's currency. You do not need to take any action.
