How pixel tracking works on the post-purchase page
The post-purchase page sits between Shopify's checkout and the thank you page. Because this page is rendered by Shopify, pixel tracking behaviour here is governed by Shopify's customer privacy and pixel framework — not directly by the Upsell app.
This means:
- Conversion tracking pixels (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) need to be configured through Shopify's Customer Events settings, not through Upsell directly.
- Shopify controls which events fire on the post-purchase page based on your pixel setup and customer consent.
Where to configure this
Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Customer Events to manage your pixels and ensure they're firing correctly on post-purchase pages.
