Bundles: What Happens If a Product Is Out of Stock?

At a glance: By default, bundles are hidden when a product goes out of stock. You can change this to show the bundle with Add to Cart greyed out instead.

Default behaviour

When any product in a bundle goes out of stock, Bundles by AMP automatically hides the bundle widget from the product page. This prevents customers from attempting to purchase an unavailable bundle.

Showing the bundle when out of stock

If you prefer to keep the bundle visible — for example, to show customers what's in the bundle even when they can't buy it — you can change this behaviour:

1. Open the Bundles by AMP app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Under Out of Stock Behavior, select Show the bundle but disable Add to Cart.
4. Save your settings.

With this setting, the bundle widget remains visible but the Add to Cart button is greyed out, making it clear the bundle isn't currently available.

Which product triggers the out-of-stock state?

Any product or variant included in the bundle going out of stock will trigger this behaviour — not just the primary product. If you have a bundle with three products, all three need to be in stock for the bundle to be available.
