Upon Install
Go through the onboarding guide to customize the text on your storefront button and enable your app embed to get it showing, or simply skip straight through to plan selection!
Select the plan that fits your notification volume and feature requirements - our Growth plan is a great place to start if you don't know exactly what works for your store!
Setup Guide
- Click Enable in theme editor to open Shopify's theme settings. This will open a new tab.
- Ensure the Back in Stock app embed is toggled on, and then simply click Save in the top right of the theme editor
- Return to the Back in Stock app
- Check out the button on your storefront - click Preview on store and a new tab will open straight to an out-of-stock item on your storefront (or we'll create a test preview if no out-of-stock product exists)!
⚠️ The button should be styled to match your theme - but if not, our Customer Support team is happy to help. Simply click on the purple HelpScout beacon in the bottom right of the admin page, and it'll open up a chat that will go through to our Customer Support team.
- Send yourself a test email: navigate to Appearance → Notifications → Customize. From here you'll be able to customize the restock notifications and send a test email so you can see what your customers will see!
🎉 Congrats, Your Basic Setup is complete ✅ You are now collecting signups, and our automatic notifications will convert restocks into sales.

- Maximize reach by enabling SMS notifications. SMS notifications are available from our Starter Plan upwards. Email notifications are included with every plan.
- Ensure the sign up form is on brand.
