How to Exclude Ad Campaigns from Lifetimely Reports

Lifetimely allows you to exclude specific ad campaigns from being imported based on keywords or terms in the campaign name. If a campaign name contains any of the terms you've chosen to exclude, that campaign will not be synced into your account.

This is especially useful when your ad account manages multiple shops or countries. For example, if you're running campaigns for several regions under one ad account, you can exclude unrelated campaigns for each Lifetimely-connected shop by filtering them with targeted keywords.

Why Exclude Ad Campaigns?

  • Prevent unrelated ad data from affecting your reports
  • Improve accuracy for shops sharing the same ad account
  • Filter out irrelevant campaigns using defined terms
  • Customize reporting by shop, region, or strategy

How to Enable Campaign Exclusion

To activate ad campaign exclusion:

  1. Go to App Integrations in your Lifetimely account
  2. Select the specific ad platform you want to adjust
  3. Use the exclusion field to define the campaign terms you want to filter out

This feature is available for all supported ad platform integrations, including Facebook, Google, and TikTok.

đź’ˇImportant Note for Facebook Ads

Due to limitations in Facebook’s API, excluding campaigns can slow down data syncing. As a result, Facebook ad spend may show a delay of up to 24 hours, especially for “today’s” data. This delay only applies to Facebook and does not affect other ad platforms.
