Using UTM conditions for Upsell differentiation


We have launched UTM conditions - Campaign, Source and Medium to allow you to offer targeted Upsells based on the ad campaigns that led the shopper to your site. Based on the ad signals, you can pick Upsell products that are more aligned with their interests.


Right now, UTM segmentation is available for all pre-purchase Upsells placements (Product Page Embedded, Product Page Popups & Cart).


Setup Steps


On a New Journey creation page, open dropdown for Conditions.

The new UTM parameters are not showing at the top.

Upon selection,

For a multi condition setup, click Advanced which unlocks the AND & OR buttons to allow another conditions to be added.

You can add in your Source and Medium UTM parameters from the ad campaign or other conditions options to round off your setup.
