How to Integrate an Ad Channel (Facebook or Google) with Lifetimely

Integrating your ad channels, like Facebook or Google, with Lifetimely allows you to track ad spend, ROI, and overall performance directly within the app. Follow these steps to connect your ad account!

Steps to Integrate an Ad Channel

  1. Access the Integrations Tab

    From your Lifetimely dashboard, navigate to the Integrations tab on the left-hand sidebar.

  2. Select Your Ad Channel

    Under the Integrations tab, you’ll see a list of available app integrations, including Facebook Ads and Google Ads.

  3. Authorize Your Ad Account
    • Click on the ad channel you want to integrate (e.g., Facebook Ads or Google Ads).
    • You will be prompted to log into your ad account. Be sure to log in with the account that has access to the specific ad accounts you want to connect.
    • Review the permissions Lifetimely is requesting, then click Allow or Continue to authorize access.
    • If prompted, select the specific ad accounts you want to connect to Lifetimely.
  4. Confirm Connection
    • Verify that your ad account is now Connected in the Integrations tab.
    • Once connected, Lifetimely will begin syncing data from your ad account. This process may take up to 30 minutes, depending on the amount of data being imported.
    • Go to the Ad Spend or Marketing Performance sections in Lifetimely to review your data.
    • You can adjust settings such as date ranges, attribution windows, and other preferences to customize how your ad data is displayed.


Changing or Updating the Facebook Ads or Google Account

If you need to connect a different Ads account:

  1. Navigate to the Integrations section within Lifetimely.
  2. Click Disconnect Account for the currently linked integration Ads account. 

  3. Reconnect Lifetimely with the new Facebook Ads or Google account by logging in and authorizing access.
  4. Allow up to 30 minutes for the data to sync from the new account. You will see a green message with "Connected, Synced 'x' minutes/hours" once the data has successfully synced with Lifetimely.

đź’ˇ Troubleshooting Tips

Enable pop-ups during setup

Make sure your browser isn’t blocking pop-ups during the integration process, as this can prevent the connection screen from loading correctly.

Reconnect if the integration is disconnected

If your ad account shows as disconnected, click the Reconnect button next to the account and follow the on-screen prompts to restore access.

Verify the correct account is selected

Double-check that you're signing in with the correct credentials and selecting the right ad account during the setup flow.

Linked personal and business accounts

If your Facebook profile is linked to multiple ad accounts, confirm you’re selecting the correct one. Also ensure your Facebook user has the necessary permissions for the business’s ad account.

Conflicts between personal and Business Manager accounts

If the ad account is managed under a Business Manager but tied to your personal Facebook login, there may be no way to bypass the personal login screen. Confirm with your Business Manager that the correct account is linked and authorized for ad spend.
